अगजा गोसाईं घर ................

 अगजा गोसाईं घर लग हीओ। घर घर गोंइठा मांग अ हीओ।। ------------------------------------ होलिका दहन के दिन बिहार के मगही भाषी क्षेत्र में बोला जाने वाला यह गीत आधुनिकता के इस दौर में लुप्त होता जा रहा है। पहले गांव में बच्चे होलिका दहन [मगध में अगजा कहा जाता है ] के दिन टोली बनाकर घर घर घुमते थे और हर घर से गोंइठा [उपला ], लकड़ी,पुआल इत्यादि गांव से थोड़ी दूर नियत स्थान पर इकट्ठा करते थे। हालांकि अगजा तो बदस्तूर हर साल हर जगह अभी भी जलाया जाता है । गांव के किसी एक सर्व मान्य परिवार द्वारा अगजा का विधिवत दहन किया जाता है। उसके बाद गांव के कुछ उत्साही युवा लूत्ता [पटसन के बोड़ा को गोलाकार लपेट कर लोहे के तार से बांध कर किरासन तेल से भिगोया जाता है ] को जलाकर अगजा का पांच बार परिक्रमा करते हैं और लूत्ता को गोलाकार घुमाकर दूर सुरक्षित जगह फेंक आते हैं। अगजा के आगे से चना का होरहा बनाया जाता है तथा अलग से पुआल को जलाकर उसे बुझा दिया जाता हैं तथा अधजले पुआल को मवेशियों को खिलाने की परम्परा है। अगजा जलने के उपरांत ग्रामीणो द्वारा होली गाया जाता है।
