CHETAN BHAGAT

 Chetan Bhagat was born on April 22, 1974, in New Delhi, India. He pursued his education at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, where he completed his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Bhagat later earned his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad.

His career initially took a corporate path, working in investment banking. However, he gained fame as an author with his debut novel, "Five Point Someone," published in 2004. Some of his other popular books include "One Night @ the Call Center," "The 3 Mistakes of My Life," and "2 States."

Chetan Bhagat is renowned for his accessible writing style that resonates with a broad audience. While he has achieved commercial success, his work has also faced criticism for its simplicity and stereotypical portrayals.

In terms of personal life, Bhagat is married to Anusha Bhagat, and they have two sons.

His books have consistently been bestsellers, contributing to his widespread popularity in the Indian literary scene.
